If there is one fragrance that commands such attention, it is a masterpiece from 1989 called Tsar. This Van Cleef & Arpels fragrance is a legend in the industry, and we needed to honor it by recreating the vintage formulation of this masterpiece from more than three decades ago. Emperor’s Elixir is our inspired expression of Tsar, and it is a masculine blend of lavender, herbs, spices, and green notes. The virility of the composition is made obvious through strong tones of oakmoss and pine, which both keep the fragrance grounded and manly. A touch of smoke comes from leather and class comes from carnation. The smoothness and elegance of the blend is something we have been craving for the longest time.
